I’m a passionate full-stack software engineer that loves designing and building clean & unique websites for my clients.
I love to learn, and am constantly looking for opportunities to apply my technical skills to live projects. Since completing iXperience’s technical boot camp in Cape Town, South Africa, I have worked on a large number of freelance web design and development projects. I am currently on my 3rd full year of freelancing, and have nailed down a smooth process for tackling and completing technical projects. I plan on starting my full time career as a Software Engineer at Slack after graduating from the University of Virginia in May of 2017.

Borrowed & Blue is a local startup in Charlottesville, Virginia that focuses on helping couples to imagine, plan, and book their dream wedding. I was hired to help design and develop one chapter of their upcoming Wedding Planning Guide. Given the content, my job was to design the layout of the content while staying consistent with the rest of their style guide. Additionally, I ensured the designs were responsive on all screens.
Moonlighting is another startup located in Charlottesville, Virginia. They focus on connecting individuals that need jobs completed with individuals that have the skills necessary to complete those jobs. I designed and developed two landing pages for them – one of which is seen here. The design is completely responsive down to mobile.
Eamon is a successful artist at Dartmouth College that began creating and selling prints of his artwork. Eventually, he realized a website showcasing his art and allowing people to order and purchase his prints was a good investment. The website showcases many of his current prints, and the live website is integrated with PayPal to allow website visitors to purchase one of his prints quickly and easily.
Greens to Grounds is a UVA club that aims to bring fresh, local produce to UVA students and the greater Charlottesville community. I completely redesigned and developed a site that supported their ecommerce needs. Users can order boxes and edit what they want in their box by completing a simple form. They are then sent to PayPal to complete their order.
